Wow, hmm that's actually a hard questions!

Probably explosions, they're so outrageous and unexpected, very Muppets!

Yeah like Sweetums said in the Muppets 30th Anniversay special

"In the old days, everything the Muppets did had monsters in it! And everything ended with eating and explosions!"

Well, the eating other muppets thing kind of died out after a while, didn't it? Especially since over time, the productions have moved to a set of core characters, there isn't any room for random characters being eaten. But explosions have carried on from their earliest stuff, to the Muppet Show (Crazy Harry blowing Ben Vereen into the ceiling rafters is my favourite example), to the movies (like in MTI when Beaker gets blown sideways into the wall? "Now we know that is definitely too much gun powder!").

Yeah there have been some explosions, but like very few in the first three movies for instance.

The last time we saw Muppets eating other Muppets was on Muppets Tonight.

Big Mean Carl ate Bill The Bubble Guy and other random characters.

That was Sweetums? I only heard it once a long time ago, and I thaught I remembered it being Statler or Waldorf. Oh well...

I'd say I prefer explosions; they're more exciting. With characters being eaten there is only one possible outcome, but with a good explosion you never know where you'll end up!
