Explosions V.S. Monsters Eating Muppets

The last time we saw Muppets eating other Muppets was on Muppets Tonight.

Big Mean Carl ate Bill The Bubble Guy and other random characters.

Carl is mean indeed to do that to my buddy Bill.

It was Sweetums, because he was sitting with all the other monsters and had a brief exchange with The Two Headed Monster.

A celebration of 30 Years was a huge crossover, it was made to look like EVERYONE from EVERY SHOW was there.

I love the explosions but I think I love eatings even more.

I always loved the explosions myself. I was creeped out when the Monsters are stuff, as a kid. And then when I grew up I found the eatings distracted from thw show because I was thinking, "Hmm...how did they puppet that?".

Explosions, however, are such an important part of the Muppets.

The explosions were particularly funny in the Wilkins Coffee ads, such as when Willkins would fire a cannon directly at Wontkins.

And on TMS, when Statler was complaining about there being too many explosions on that week's show...Waldorf produces a bomb, it explodes, and W laughs, "three's the charm!"
