Gonzo Update:

His Preorder has got pushed back for October.

Animal is on the water and will be shipping next month.

She said that it is really nice that something new is brought up about the Muppets. It makes the discussion more fun. She had fun having Fozzie in her office. She said that it makes her want to go up to him and give him a hug. I did not bring up the foam thing cause at the time she was giving me the bad news about the Vader Helmet that I had on pre-order. I didn't get to get one due to the amount they had left in stock. So I was a bit down. She said that they have a whole lot planned for the Muppets next year so be ready. It will be a lot of fun. I told her I was sorry for bringing up the Muppets all the time and she told me don't be sorry that she is glad to know that there is a lot of out there that is really into the Muppets. I told her that the Muppet forum there are a lot of us happy about the line and they are loking forward to the new photo puppets for next year. They are working really hard on Gonzo's nose as we speak, that is why the preorder keeps getting postponed. We also talked about the Kermit travel. She said that she really loved the Memphis. She thought that Fozzi did a awesome job, which I think he did. I really wanted to take Kermit as well....oh well. Still dissapointed about the Helmet though.

She knows nothing about Piggy yet and that goes for Terry also. I asked him and he told me that he will not know till he gets all three Fozzie's done for MR, then Travis will let him know about Piggy. So far, Terry has the head of the third Fozzie done and working on the body. Hope this helps a little bit guys. I will let you guys know more when I write him again.

Awww. Well, at least they seem interested in getting Gonzo right. If they were to make only one Muppet replica - he is the one I would pick!

On another note - I've been watching Fraggle season three with my partner and keep seeing Terry's name in the credits and each time it goes by, I tell Ian, "He made my Kermit!" He's getting rather annoyed with me about that.

I just hope MR will keep up with the quality of the Kermit poser and Terry's original designs.

Also, a local shop owner was telling me that originally the Kermit was to be a rod puppet and not a poser. I'm sort of glad he is a poser. The store owner wasn't. Guess I have way too much reverence for these characters. Looking forward to breaking-in the Animal poser and seeing just how real he will look.
