Awesome, Tintin comics are so great, and the series, (but in my opinion the coimcs are better). I'm not too sure about Hayden Christiensen as the voice. But we'll see.

This kind of worries me. He won't be a cartoon, or CGI, or a real person? Then what will he be? The article made no sense at all to me. Someone explain!

Honestly, I'm still a little burnt up that the Asterix movie they released in Europe last year wasn't dubbed into English or even released on DVD. (On the subject of movies featuring European comics).

But this sounds pretty cool... But what was really great was the PBS special they aired on Tintin. The creator had such an interresting life.

Did you know, at one time, Tintin was published for a Nazi propaganda paper? The stories thankfully didn't reflect that. It's basically a long story and I can't remember it right now. But it was very interresting.

I love Tintin, but there are some imperialistic themes in some of the comics, which I'm not as crazy about...
I'd be curious to know which of the three stories they have selected for the movies. Does anyone know?

Didn't TinTin take down the Nazi's time after time? Wait...was that Indiana Jones?

I did say at one time. In fact, if I can remember specifically from the Special, I belive there was one instance in which the artist did have a German craft (can't recall if it was a ship or airplanes) in one one comic and the editors of the paper told him never again to cast the Germans in a bad light again.

If the special ever airs where you are, watch it. It's very entertaining.

I saw the making of that movie, that was awesome. Is that how there going to do this tintin movie?
Aww I hope not. It needs to be live action or cartoon. All or nothing. Because that is the way it has always been.
