I wonder...with classic characters returning to the big screen...I wonder when the next Sesame movie shall be (I mean we have Classic Muppets & Fraggles coming to the screen, but when do the Sesame gang get their next film)?

Do the fanfics you read HAVE to have them EXACTLY like they are on the show and in the movies? There's actually SEVERAL GOOD fanfics out there where they're older, that aren't all about the boys being hard, and the girls being skanky!

Not exactly..but the chipmunks are just one of those fandoms where I can't handle that much change before it just doesn't seem like them anymore...Certain fandoms are like a rubber band to me, they snap if taken too far in any one direction...
I think that is why I write more fanfic than I read with these fandoms, because I've gotten picky in my old age

But I agree, a lot of times they CAN be taken to far, but I swear, there ARE plenty of GOOD fanfics out there where they're older. Mine for instance, lol.

But I was fourteen when I started writing online, and in internet years, 11 years is a looong time to 'still' be writing fanfic -.-.
I have nothing against good writers or your story (when I talk about most fanfics I've read being bad I never mean anyone on the site I'm on nine times out of ten), I'm just.. persnickety with my tastes..If I can just as well be reading their chipmunk (or any fandom) story and change the names and it would not matter something is very wrong IMHO...
