I don't think the names on the first movie justify the first films success.

Well, I don't ether exactly, I just meant that it did so well that big names aren't really needed to sell a 2nd one IMHO .

Still, I will take The Chipmunk Adventure over any of them

Like I said, NOBODY I know, whether it's real-life, or online, actually likes Miley Cyrus.

Interestingly, I know some who like her show, but not the actress/singer herself.

I've never been the type to fangirl a singer, I like songs rather than the person that sings them 99% of the time, which is why I think I like the Chipmunks so much

For me, it depends. I mean, in terms of country music, George Strait & Garth Brooks are the main male solo singers to turn to, whereas Brooks & Dunn are the best duo and ladies like Faith Hill, Shania Twain, & fellow resident of somewhere over the rainbow, Martina McBride are--IMHO--the best female solo-ists.

I don't feel like these artist are real country. Their more pop than they are country.

I meant in terms of the modern sound. For really old country songs and style, the people I enjoy are the King of the Road & the Man in Black ("Dang" that Roger Miller, for he was a card [as The Muppets themselves know when he starred on TMS] & even though he did "walk the line", Johnny Cash was always a treasure to hear).

But to tie this back into the 'munks, the 'munks parodied and sang country music in the 80's & 90's (heck, Billy Ray Cyrus' Achy Breaky Heart was even sung by the 'munks).
