Thank you, Marty. You can actually thank John Denver for my signature. Incase you're not familiar with it, it is made up of some lyrics from John's beautiful song, "Summer." One of my favorite songs from him and some of my favorite words from it, also.

Just wanted to pop in and wish a happy 4th to all the U.S. members of the RHLC, and a good day/night to everyone else.

Got treated to a few fireworks displays - went to one in the park at the north end of town, and when I got home I was able to catch what little was left of the display over/around the Hudson.

Thanks, MN, Happy 4th to you too!

I'm spending the night looking after the puppy, he's a little skiddish about his first fireworks, hehe. Well he was upset before but now he's getting used to it. He's sleeping now and when the noise happens, he just tries to curl up and ignore it, lol.

On a happier note, he's 1 year old this month!

Well, the honeymoon went wonderfully and our trip home was uneventful as well. (First time taking an extended drive by ourselves! 3 hours both to and from Myrtle Beach!)

Life is full of firsts ya know...first love, first kiss, then marriage...it's all so wonderful you know.

Amazing how just a couple of years ago, November 26th, 2007; I met Robert for the first time ever....and now we're a married couple, ready to blaze our own trails in life!

Thanks for the well-wishings guys! And as a housewife, I'll be able to join in more and more with your conversations as I'll be keeping up house and such.

And we're hoping to have a little one perhaps one of these days! And we're definately getting a little dog around Christmastime.

Well, glad to check up on you guys again and I hope to talk to you again soon.

Yes, glad it went well!

Oh yeah I remember that clip!

Notice how the feather magically ends up in Don's hand at the end? Lol

I guess they were trying to keep any historical lessons pretty simple here since this was for 4 year olds. All the kids need to know is, The Declaration of Independence is a very important thing for America, a guy with an anger management problem named Thomas Jefferson wrote it, and the day was saved thanks to a chicken named Phil and a fuzzy and blue monster named Grover.

...and oh yeah, in the old days people wrote with feathers instead of pens. Brilliant!
