I really like that for the most part we get along in this thread. I am going to start limiting my posting, but I'd never stop coming here.

Same here! Not everywhere on the board sadly. But for the most part it's awesome.

Ditto - when I drop into the forum, this is one of a handful of places where I regularly check in. And it is good therapy, as well as lots of fun, but you have to remember to get away from the computer once in a while.

I had another Richard dream during the night - it's kinda similar to the one that MBM posted a little while ago, the one where she spent time with Richard while he was sick.

Nice! I actually had a dream as well, lol, where somehow my Mom had found some photos. Thrilling until I realized it was a dream, lol.

Yeah, happens all the time - something really cool happens, and then you realize that you're dreaming it.

In mine, my mom was Richard's doctor, and by that time he was fairly ill. And so, yes, my family ends up meeting the Hunts, becoming good pals and all that, and there was a big get-together for some reason or other in Closter - and I remember sitting in or walking around the garden with Richard, just chatting.

Well we're not like other fans, we don't don't get things to fuel the fandom everyday!

What an awesome dream that must have been Erin. I don't recall ever dreaming about any of the muppeteers as such.
But I do have one very young childhood dream that's been permanently etched in my memory. At one time I saw Ernie and Bert appear in my dreams as a small boy. I wasn't in the dream myself but it was just as if I were watching them on television as they looked directly ahead and spoke. And this is what they said:

Ernie: Hi. We're detective Ernie and detective Bert.
Bert: We have been sent to investigate all the mysterious danger events reported here.

After that all I can remember is seeing them go up, or at least one of them go up, a flight of stairs, maybe with a magnifying glass. Like as if they were beginning their detective work looking for clues. But the channel must have changed on my dreams or else I woke up, for I remember nothing else about it.

Wow. Bert and Ernie as detectives. I hope Sherlock Hemlock would be proud of them.:stick_out_tongue::frown::search:

Lol, that's awesome, Marty! Don't we all wish we could connect with B&E that way. And it's so annoying when the dream channel changes! :frown::stick_out_tongue:

Hehe it also kinda reminded me of an amusing comment someone made on Tough Pigs about an old Muppet book, "The Case of the Missing Mother." About how these stories about losing something are called "The Case of the Missing..." Lol

I lost my glasses. I put them on the bedside table, and the next morning they were gone. So I'm stuck wearing an old prescription. Which brings me to my question: Why do they always call these things "The Case of the Missing..."

I mean, unless these books actually include a detective, or they make reference to some kind of detective work, it seems kind of silly. I'm not going around saying, "Oh, it's the case of the missing glasses!"

Aw, thank you heralde. Even though I don't mind being called by my MC "nickname" Bill, it always gives me a special happy feeling when anybody calls me by my real name for the first time.
