Yeah! I have to say that I really would love to know what his reaction was when he first found out that he was going to be working with Jim Henson, too!

I do remember the teddy bear picnic! I love that song by the way!:super:
Oh cool, glad the question was approved!

Yeah the one I remember was how there's one day of the year when kids don't notice that their teddy bears are missing because they've all gone to the Teddy Bear picnic. "But one day, one little girl...did notice..." Lol, ah innocence!

That's the one I remember, too!
Yeah, innocents really is such a precious gift and you really do have to treasure it and treat it kindly because it really is something that you never get back.:halo:

And the song is a preftec examply and the essence of innocents.

Well I remember Jim once said the key to his characters, even the villians, was their innocence. Like when he said Harry Belafonte couldn't be seen in a heated argument with a Muppet because they're not capable of getting that angry.

That's so true about those characters! And that all have a naivete and sweetness to them. And I agree that that has gotten lost in translation with the characters over time as well sense Jim's passing.

Yeah I think that's what's been missing in more recent projects. It's like they left childhood and are now teenagers trying to appear grown up, but it's really just coming across as immature.

Wow! Speaking of the Bunny Picnic! Not two seconds ago I was sitting here stressing out about a bunch of things, worry myself etc. I didn't know what to do. Then I lhappned to look up at the MC radio menu and it said "When You Stand, Tale of the Bunny Picnic." I haven't thought of the show's songs in awhile, but I instantly heard in my mind the verses Bean and Lugsy started singing at the end, "There's a voice, you will here. It will tell you what is right in spite of fear. And that voice is a drum, it will lead you to your courage it will tell you friends to come. When you stand all alone. And you feel the weight of zero in your bones. When the wrong just goes on and the fight is like a night without a dawn!"

Amazing how these little 'coincidences' always seem to take you by surprise at odd moments!

Yeah, it's funny how those kinds of things happy. Especially when they do at the right time.

And what a great and true message to the song! I have to watch this special again!

Gah, I'm destined to a life of pain apperently.

This past Wednesday, around 6:30am; I woke up out of a sound slumber. I thought my mother was going "Oh! Oh! Oh!" which is the sound she makes whenever Bridget (my 5lb chi) has a seizure; which signals me to grab her valium so I can give her an injection in her...well, her anus. It's the quickest way to get the medicine to her without using an IV.

So, I'm sleeping and I think Mom is going "Oh! Oh!" so I jump out of bed, and I land on the floor hard. I um...sleep au natural so I grabbed the blanket to wrap around me to get decent; I mean my dog is having a seizure, no time to put on actual clothes! Well I heard this "CRASH! SMASH!" and I think in my half-asleep mode that I pulled something off of my bed or the something and that it hit the floor.

In fact my left foot had smashed a thick mason drinking jar. I stupidly put my left foot down...again. So I flung open the door, and I look at mom who was using the facilities (which is right across from my bedroom), and she asked me what was the matter.

No dog having a seizure apperently. I felt a pain when I put my left foot down on the floor, looking down without my glasses I see a little nick on the top of my foot and see a thin trail of blood trailing down off the side. I think "Oh, I hurt myself. Huh, better grab a little bandage or something."

I do an honest to God double-take once I see the floor beneath my foot. Big, I mean BIG plops of blood all over this little two foot square area in front of my door. I had deeply cut into the flesh between my ring and pinkie toes. The cut was 1/4 inch deep at it's deepest. I probably lost 1/2 cup of blood that morning and it also took me a whole dang hour to stop the bleeding finally.

I talked about it with Doctor Korman later that morning and he agreed with my remark, which was "If it had cut any deeper, the blood would have been literally gushing out, instead of dripping out wouldn't it have?" He glued it shut, using Dermabond, or whatever it's called, and he told me to keep a bandage over it for the next week for the subsequent draining and to stay off of it as much as possible. So, I'm out of work for the next week.

Hope I don't get fired over this. Like my last job at the Airport.

I really don't wanna lose another job due to injury, let alone lose another job period. I love you guys so much, you're like extended family to me.

*leaves out orange juice, chocolate doughnuts, and fresh coffee for everyone who wants it.*
