Well, it's a matter of just letting the pets slowly adjust (under supervision, of course). Mom says the relationship between Toby and Sonja is warming up - he doesn't snarl at her anymore, and she just follows him wherever he goes.

In the meantime, I had a Muppet-related dream. At one point, I'm watching Fozzie move around backstage, and then the camera pulls back and I can see Frank underneath him. In another scene, I'm looking at the Japanese cake in the Swedish Chef's kitchen, but I lean forward on the counter and I see Richard standing down below in the pit.

Glad the pups are at least starting to warm up!

Lol, yeah I think we're all dying for more "accidential" Muppeteer cameos!

I'm so happy! The other day my friend got something she's been waiting for a long time. It was great news and we were both thrilled. In the back of my head, I had the idea to stop by that store I'd found the Statler doll, even though there hadn't been anything new in weeks. Something just told me to stop by. So I did, still talking to my friend. The standard stuff was still on the shelves, nothing new. Then I looked down......................

Exactly THREE Beaker dolls! I couldn't believe it! This was my chance, after failing to purchase one months before. He's home with me now, and he looks perfect. As close to the Muppet as possible, and with a jacket, shirt, tie, pants (well yeah lol) sock and shoes. I guess like Richard, I got to take him home with me after all!

You know... That reminds me of this great multiple-part dream I had this morning. It was taking place as me and later my friend Joel were touring behind the scenes at Sesame. There was this set piece of 1-2-3 with the traditional green doors... But they were sort of plastic playset rotating doors. One side had the normal frame of the brownstone's green doors, the other depicted the front of the old carriage house's doors. These were of course in the same molded green plastic... The only way you could see it was if you could actually see the relief pattern on the plastic pieces. María showed up as stuff was blowing out through the revolving doors. Bob and Luis were practicing a sketch in song form... And then there was a Rubber Duckie tub race being filmed. The duckies slid down a chute into the tub which was missing the water. Since this was meant to have Ernie pop up in the tub behind the pack of squeakers, air was pumped into the tub with bubbles floating and a trickling water sound effect. This quickly dissolved into something else that was still pleasant, as our trip ended in entering a sort of lobbylike area and then an interior room where a local hockey game was getting ready to start.

All in all a good dream to post here for ya Muppet guys and gals.

That's rully nice; take very good care of him, heralde, keep him away from any Bunsen plushes...

Sounds as if Beaker is one of Richard's favorites, if not the favorite. And besides, Richard did name his house in Truro after Beaker, so there is certainly a strong bond between Muppet and Muppeteer.

As for me, I've picked up my graduation gear (cap, gown, hood) from the university bookstore, so my mom and I are going to start figuring out how to make a Scooter figure for my cap.

On the subject of "accidental" cameos: but of course! We do love to see our favorite puppet-wielders make unplanned appearances on camera, after all.

Cool dream, what detail! You could do a fan fic with that!

Yup, and the timing was just amazing, right when we'd gotten this good news. I was humming the "I've Got a Golden Ticket" song from Will Wodka all the way home, lol.

As for me, I've picked up my graduation gear (cap, gown, hood) from the university bookstore, so my mom and I are going to start figuring out how to make a Scooter figure for my cap.
Cool, I wish I'd decorated my cap, lol. Now that it's getting closer, how do you feel?

I found this random inspiratonal quotes the other day. They sort of reminded me of Richard and what seemed to be how he approached life:

"People who are most successful in life do not get to the top because of what happens to them. They get to the top because of how they react to what happens to them."

"I'm not happy, I'm cheerful. There's a difference. A happy woman has no cares at all. A cheerful woman has cares but has learned how to deal with them."

"Blessedness is not unalloyed happiness. It is paradoxical happiness in which sorrow is not eliminated but transmuted by God's all permeating love." (Sorry a lot of big words there lol)

"Joy is contagious. Commit to being a carrier!"

My brother had this dream ones, and I had the TV up and he could hear in in his sleep, So he was dreaming that he was at a KISS concert with Abby, Elmo and Oscar and they all the puppets started sticking their tongs out really longly and making quote from their songs among other things. It was a bit bazaar to hear about.

Lol, wow that is bizarre! Now that would be interesting as a special (as I am a big fan of KISS lol)!

Something else I wanted to share about the Tonight Show appearance. At one point, Bernadette Peters also arrives and sings "Just One Person" with Robin and the other Muppets. Although I swear Richard was the only one who was miked because literally the only ones you can hear are Bernadette and Scooter, lol. They don't always come in at the exact same time (which I imagine group songs usually cover up hehe), but still, it's lovely to listen to! Hehe
