Actually , I don't think we all have different opinions of love, just that we're concentrating on different aspects. But all are accurate.
Glad you liked the clip, Skye! "IN...ahhh!" Lol
Btw, early Christmas special this year (yeah yeah what else is new, right?) Anyway, someone posted
The Christmas Toy on youtube! This is one of my most favorite Christmas specials of all time. I didn't realize until recently just how much the Muppets had to do with making Christmas special during my childhood. When I see garland or tinsel, part of me does think of The Christmas Toy. Somehow they were always there, with the TV specials and the albums etc.
Richard's main character is Belmont, the rocking horse (though he's more of a "Scooter" horse...heh...see because he's on wheels and...heh). One could say he's not a typical Richard character, since he's not particularly loud or daring or crazy. He's stiff, paranoid and worrisome. On the other hand, I think he has a lot in common with Richard's other creations in that he inspires the audience to be more daring and brave and compassionate.
He's not your first choice of favorite character perhaps because he is such a wimp and also so mean to Mew the Mouse at first. But on the other hand, that's the kind of detail that makes a rich fully developed character. In the scene when Mew's about to be frozen forever, Belmont tells Rugby "You can't risk your life for a cat toy!", but at the same time you can see how guilty he feels.
You see the performance of a real actor there (especially when you consider he's working a character with one facial expression hehe).
....Oh yeah, I forgot the link lol
