Yeah you're right, on to happier things!

It kinda annoys the people on the Tough Pigs forum whenever the conversation veers this way. Oh, well.
Really? Huh, that's interesting. You mean like anything like "teeny bopper silly"?

You know what? Richard's attitude makes me feel better about my own slightly annoying toothgaps! Lol

Yup, I do like love his smile. Kinda random, but I have always liked this scene (look for the sketch in the rain). It's not the best quality, but I just think he really looks like he's having fun. Plus it's always cool to actually see him manipulating a puppet:

Ugh, you know I have looked over and over again, it's not clear where J&R are in the El Sleazo scene. lol Though, Richard can be seen (accidently) in the letter box version, right-handing Fozzie just when Gonzo goes up with the balloons.

Lol, I'm watching the "Movin Right Along" scene right now, and thinking about all those Muppeteers crammed into one Studebaker!

Hmm, I don't know - I think the guys at Tough Pigs have issues with threads dedicated entirely to one Muppet performer. Something to do with trivializing the Muppet forum or something. (shades of Sam the Eagle, anyone?) It had to do with their objection to Sylinde posting the audio clips of Jim's memorial.

Like I said - the person said that Jerry and Richard were at the very start of the scene - so the next time I watch, I'm going to take a close look at the two guys at the table as Kermit's walking in. And I'll keep an eye open for people's heads as well.

And oh, the Studebaker scene - yeah, that car must have borne a passing resemblance to a tin of sardines right then. Sure, there were 12 performers inside the Happiness Hotel bus in TGMC - but they at least got to stand up or sit up. Not so with the Studebaker.

You know, probably as a result of last night's discussions, I spent a long time afterward looking at one of the photos of Richard's quilt.

Ohh, duh, I thought you meant they didn't like us talking about the toothgap thing, lol. Ok, yeah I understand the objection to the audio clips. It's a tricky issue, but I do think we have tried to be respectful. As for threads dedicated to one performer, again I think it depends on the content itself. I personally don't think we trivialize anything.

Ok for all you RHLC-ers, if no one had told you Richard was in this Twiddlebug sketch, would you have known? And would you have known who he was?

No I wouldn't have. Is he the brother?

At first i though he was the sister, but then it sounded more like Jerry to me.

I think you're right! According to Muppet Wiki, Richard typically played the brother. Personally, I could kinda tell by the body language (as we've discussed earlier hehe).

I like what they did to the voices in those Twiddlebugs sketches, it's just so funny lol. And it must be weird to hear your voice played back like that.

I would imagine that it would be. I wonder how they make their voices sound like that?

I did see the clip from Of Muppets and Men, is that what you mean?

Yup, I've seen that other one too, great song choice!

Oh my gosh, I probably sound so silly.
I have just realized that, Don Music was one
of my favorites as a child. O_O

I forgot all about him!
I liked watching him slam his
head and whine about not being
able to finish a certain song!

I was a young pianist-in-training!
So, I had much love for that character.

Now, to find out that Richard Hunt
played him...

WOW!

Well, I was viewing a Don Music video
and then I remembered having read something
about Richard having to not perform him anymore
since they worried the children would copy his character's
head banging.

I matched the two and gasped.

I am ashamed to admit I did not
recognize this character so quickly.
WOW!

XD

*Clears throat*

Sorry!

I just kinda forgot over the years and to
finally discover who exactly was Don Music
and who performed him...

WELL!

I am pretty darn enthusiastic.

I love those tributes btw.
So inspirational!
