*A little sad*

He would have done just that.

I don't know if you'd rather wait, but someone did post "The Honk of Honks" on youtube...

Yeah it is sad to think he might have done other things if he'd lived. But I remind myself of a letter a kid sent to the Henson company when Jim died. "I guess they needed Muppets in Heaven." :wink:

Yeah - think of all he did get done when he was on Earth.

They must have needed Muppets in heaven, and Muppet performers, too - and you know, sometimes I like to picture Richard sitting on a cloud, in halo and wings, doing a show for a group of child angels sitting around him.
It's also fun to visualize Jim and Richard meeting up with each other again, sometime in the predawn hours of Jan. 7, 1992.

"Hey, Richard, where've you been?"
"Sorry, Jim, I was a bit late. Late, get it?"

::Groans:: Hehe

Yeah I know what you mean. I always imagine Jim trying to get another project together (and luckily these things don't get rejected in Heaven lol). He has plenty of willing participants, but all they need is someone to train them, hint hint. Hehe :wink:

Well... At least they have someone to write that project for them, what with JJ up there in on the Muppeteers' cloud.

BTW: Kermit doesn't die... Not hexactly, but if I said any more I'd be spoiling it. So go and read already...
Oh, Sara and Melissa, please LMK if you got it via hexpress scare mail.

Oh yeah I did forget about Jerry Juhl, certainly! Actually I was referring to Richard doing the training, since that was a big part of what he contributed to the Muppets. :wink:

You know - in "Of Muppets and Men," the eight principal TMS Muppeteers were referred to as "the varsity squad." It's kind of fitting - except unlike in regular team sports, the Muppet crew took turns being team captain and coach - sometimes at the same time. Jerry Juhl strikes me as being the referee.

Yes, Jim and Richard and Jerry and Joe could put on a really great show for all the celestial types up in heaven. I mean, just think of all the guest stars they'd have up there: all the actors, musicians, singers, comedians, general weirdoes - not to mention all the high-ranking angels and saints...Mom and I sometimes joke that God can afford to hire the very best talent the universe has to offer.

It would be wonderful to see whatever project that they are cooking up. Maybe it can come to me in a dream.

BTW, got the story and have now read it. Now I need to go whallop Prawnie for an incredible story.
