Oh I remember that shot from Of Muppets and Men. But actually I remember seeing it years ago in the Secrets of the Muppets special before I knew who Richard was. I remember I always liked the hat. Lol

Nice job! Oh and you made a George Harrison photo too, awesome!

Thanks! ^_^

And it is a very nice hat. I have yet to buy one. Maybe when we all work for the Muppets someday, we'll find his hat lying around somewhere.

I've actually always loved that style of head gear. I just happened to receive one like it for a birthday last year, I was very pleased!

Yeah I've also thought of finding his hat somewhere, lol.

That's really good, Marianne!

Yes, the gray tweed newsboy's cap (or driver's cap). I too really like that style, and I have a brown version of it.

Guys, by the way, I saw something truly shocking today. Mom and I were in a butcher's shop to pick up a few racks of lamb, because my uncle Dave and his family are coming in from California to spend Easter with us (and Uncle Dave's a real stickler about serving the right traditional foods)...and the shop sold frog legs. When I commented on this, the butcher joked, "Kermit didn't make it."

Mom and I promptly responded by saying in unison, "All I see are millions of frogs on tiny crutches."

Lol, that's great, MN. Good for you and your Mom, lol. Man, I can't believe Easter is coming so quickly!

The other day, I was showing a friend one of the Of Muppets and Men photos I copied. The one of Jerry and Richard in the recording booth. She said she could tell who Jerry played by looking at him and she rightly picked Floyd. :sing:

I then pointed to Richard and said, "He played Janice." And she laughed, because obviously Richard doesn't look like Janice the way Jerry looks like Floyd. Lol

Good point. Jerry and Floyd have the same cool-dude bearded hipster look and attitude. And I can really also see Jerry as Pa Gorg. They're both big, bearded and loudmouthed. (and I mean that only in the best possible way, Jerry, should you be reading this)

As for Richard...well, when I saw a photo of him (it was the one on his main tribute page) for the first time, I thought, "Hmm, okay, yeah, I can see him playing Scooter." And when I saw another photo, a headshot of him wearing the famous gray tweed newsboy cap, I thought, "Yep, definitely Scooter."

Hi gang! My my my... I havn't posted in this thread for yonks!
Meeps- I LOVE the Richard pic! Just lookin' at your gallery... good stuff! Esp. the George Harrison one, George is like... my fave. Ok, along with John. Ha, I'm such a Beatles babe. Anywho, well done!
Hey Erin, I love the butcher story, lol, poor frogs on crouches! *Sheilds Kermit*
Heralde, it's so cool how your friend just instantly knew who Jerry and Richard performed. I totally agree with MN... if I just saw Richard, I would guess he performed Scooter... OR Junior Gorg, s'pose.
