I've always will love this show. I've collected pretty much all of the videos and or DVD's that has came out. I'm still looking for the newest one "Richy Rich/Scooby Doo Hour." Hoping to find it soon.

Indeed I do like the show. Mainly for the camp value, and the blatant formulaic storylines. And mainly for Shaggy and Scooby. But NO Scrappy. Especially those horrible episodes where Scrappy running around annoying the heck out of everyone, and Shaggy and Scooby spend the whole episode running around. Yuck. Even Get a Clue had some watchability (borrowing liberally from napoleon Dynamite, going as mar as making Napoleon and his brother or cousin parody characters in the show).

I will say, Get a Clue had an amazing ending.

I seem to love it in spurts. For awhile I might watch an episode every day, read fanfiction, etc. and then some time later, kind of "forget" about the show. I'll always like it, though. Velma, Shaggy and Scooby are my favorites. Actually, since I was small I always believed Shaggy and Velma should hook up (it has yet to happen - I thought the two "misfits" of the group, with their own catch phrases, were perfect for each other even at 8 :stick_out_tongue:).

I really hate Scrappy, though. And I like to pretend to two live action movies don't exist.

I just love how the original cartoon has the same things over and over in every episode. The gang splits up. Daphne gets kidnapped or asks an obvious question. Velma says, "This whole mystery is beginning to make sense." The gang ALWAYS believes there's really a ghost, despite proving time and again it's always a guy in a sheet. The villian always says the immortal, "And I would have gotten away with it too if it wasn't for you mettling kids." Lol

I have to say... What's new Scooby Doo really got into more technical ways of posing as Ghosts. My favorite was the time they went to Japan, and Shaggy and Scooby thought they somehow becamse monsters. I forget exactly how it turned out, but it was a lot more complicated than the usual cheap costume.

I especially like the episode where the rides in a theme park were sabotaged by a jealous sibling of the park owner. She starts with that "I coulda gotten away with it" line, and Velma said, "Well, technically, you DID get away with it."

Oh, and Fred always says "I don't know" or somebody always says "Why would a ____ have a _____ in this ______?" ;D

I wonder why they added that laugh track later? It kinda ruins the creepy atmosphere.

Those are my two favoites of all time. The second one you mention becuase of it being the first one i saw when it aired on the WB kids. This was the only reason i bought those channels on Dish so i could watch the new "Scooby Doo" show. I asked my mom even though the Dish was in my name i still asked her and she was that's fine with me.
