... if tonight is '70s Muppet songs/"Put Down the Duckie" night and your watching/searching for multiple videos of those songs on YouTube.

... if you can do a pretty good Prairie Dawn impression. (Which I can do. "Officer, he took my clippie!" XD LOVED that part in the special.)

... if you can remember crying when you listened to "One Small Voice" as a child. (For me, it was the Elmopalooza version. So touching...)

... if just thinking of the song "Saying Goodbye" makes you sad.

... if you spent the day looking for some of your favorite SS scenes/songs on YouTube.

... if you are working on your Gladys the Cow impression.

... if you seem to be on a Sesame streak lately.

You might be an obsessed Muppet fan if you think you share secrets with individual Muppet characters.

I have a lanyard pin with a picture of Fozzie holding a banana to his ear, and above him reads "BANANAPHONE". My co-worker saw this and .... well, Let me just type our conversation verbatim.

Kathy: (looking at pin) I don't get it.
Me: (thinking how I would really rather not explain it)
uuuhhh.... Yeah, you wouldn't.
Kathy: What? What's that supposed to mean?
Me: I just wouldn't expect you to get it.
Kathy: Why not, I used to like Muppets too.
Me: Yeeaahh.... but this is sort of an inside joke.
Kathy: inside joke? for who? ! ? ...you and Fozzie Bear? ! ? ! ?
Me: .... .... .... Yes.

...That is AWESOME.

I don't remember if I've said this one before or not, but you might be an obsessed Muppet fan if, every time circles are mentioned (particularly in a math class), you hear in your head Bert singing that a circle is round and Ernie singing about all the different things a circle could be. "It's a circle, I know! But it's so much MORE!" ...<Ahem> Right. Back to the math homework.

If, when wrapping presents for customers at work, you get strong sudden urges to begin talking like a Muppet/Sesame Street character depending on the color of ribbon you're using.

i.e. Yesterday I was wrapping something with two colors of ribbon: black and light purple. I REALLY wanted to shout: ONE! ONE BEAUTIFUL BOW AH AH AH!

... if you slip into Beauregard's voice after a football game.

... if you recently daydreamed about meeting the EM at Disney World...

... if you acted out the above in your mind.

What's being on topic mean again? =P

You know you're an obsessed muppet fan if your chemistry teacher is asking the class the definition of a beaker and you answer, "Meep!"
Hahaha! Funny story about that actually... I was in the Chemistry lab and my teacher kept mentioning Beakers AND Bunsen burners, and my friend kept giving me a look whenever she did... and then my teacher showed us the cabinet where the beakers are stored and refered to it as "Beaker Land." I looked at my friend and said, "Can I PLEASE?" She sighed and said, "Fine..." And then I meeped a few times. :stick_out_tongue:
