I am by no means a tomato guy. The slices are just way too moist and juicy. I have the urge to gag when swallowing one.

I love ketchup on burgers and hotdogs (only with homemade burgers though and if I’m eating potato chips as a side dish; resteraunt burgers, no). I don’t like sun dried tomatoes either. Tomato sauce on a pasta dish, absolutely!

I don’t like onions either. That’s why my burger topping is just lettuce, cheese, some type of sauce, maybe jalapeños or bacon. That’s it.

I covered beer, now wine.
I had one favorite wine called White Zinfandel (it’s actually a blush). A little sweet, but light.
Dry wines are a little bitter, but some are good for cooking.

Also in my college days, I dabbled in the cheap stuff. Boone’s Farm, Mad Dog 20/20,
Night Train, and not for the weak at heart, Olde English 800.
Just picture Fred Sanford and his bottle of Ripple. The above are in the same class.

When it comes to onions, the smaller and flatter they are, the better. Those big, round onions are really strong and overwhelming.
