Episode 657 is themed around scariness, the Wicked Witch episode is episode 847... Must be something about episode numbers ending with the number 7.

One of my first thoughts: If they were to do a DVD themed around classic scary moments, episodes 657 and 847 would be great ones to include.

That bit alone makes me glad that song was gone by the around the corner era.

Oh please, those scenes alone have nothing on this. This may be the most terrifying thing to ever be put together for Sesame Street, even more so than the infamous Cracks short.

Part of me wants to say if I saw that as a kid, I feel like I’d be a bit weirded out but not to the point I find myself running out of the room or covering my ears or eyes when it comes on.

Well, I guess we see things a little differently. Then again, this is coming from someone who was somewhat terrified by this animated segment on noses when I was little (which I'm pretty sure I've already brought up once or twice here).
