Honestly they should try to focus on more clothing and small things to slowly bring back the Muppets
That, and have some type of presence on social media. I mean Kermit, Fozzie, Piggy, Gonzo, and Animal all have Facebook and Twitter accounts, and they share mostly old stock photos from previous productions but that's about it. Even though they were not very good they had the Muppet thought of the week. Now they dont really have much of anything.

The Muppets appeared on Carpool Karaoke recently. Does that count as anything new?

Short answer yes. It counts. It is a popular feature of a popular show, although one on a hard to find platform.

I find it odd that with politics being hotter than ever, Sam Eagle is no where to be seen.
I'd love to see that. But then you'd have the annoying fans who would be like "ugh, quit shoving politiks on da Muppets!!!!111!!!!"
