The 90s suddenly returned at random today . . . but the humidity must be way down today, because it actually doesn't even really feel all that hot outside.

It's been raining in my area lately.

Maybe you got it from us, because up until this week, it's been a pretty unusually wet month for us.

Which is not something I'm complaining about, considering July and August are usually our driest months.

It's actually unusually cool today, after a couple of weeks of temps getting all the way up to about 109 degrees, we've gone back down to 90 with a very soft breeze.

What a world to live in when 90 degrees is considered "unusually cool." I feel for you.

In all seriousness, it's apparently going to be below average for a while here too: 80s, and apparently even 70s for a couple of days as well.

Weather Channel is still insisting August, September, and October will be below average, but I'm not holding my breath: they said May would be below average, and it was above average this year.

Yeah, definitely looking forward to fall now more than ever. I hope this year is actually cool for most of it, but I doubt it .

I'm really anxious for fall this year myself, but for various different little reasons.
