Nurse bee 1 [to first father bee]: Congratulations, you're the proud father of a buzzing baby worker bee!
Nurse bee 2 [in a deadpan voice, to the second father bee]: You're the father of a drone. He won't be allowed to do any jobs such as gathering nectar, pollen, or honey, he won't even be allowed to build hives or do special dances, he's just going to exist to bring other bees into the world. If he brings another expendable drone into the world, the humdrum life cycle continues for at least another generation; if he brings a worker into the world, the worker is going to have more of a practical purpose and do great things within the beehive.
