Well. let's look at this.
For a film that came out 80 years ago, for a cast member to still be alive is a miracle.
Due to their extremes in size, midgets and giants generally don't live that long. So for a midget/dwarf/little person to live this long beats unbelievable odds.
And if they lived to be almost a hundred, that's all the more incredible.

Well, I was a little person when I was five, but I'm not a little person now.

Children are little people, but not all little people are children.

It's not a slur to call someone over 7 feet tall a giant. It's an accurate description.

And little people are in the enviable position of being the last ones to know it's raining.
Isn't that lucky for them? 8)

Anthony Bourdain died.

He was a great example of how Americans could embrace and enjoy other cultures.
It's a shame to see someone end their own life, it feels even worse when there life seemed so full

Real shame.

I'm just thankful I've always been able to prevent myself from committing suicide and it certainly wasn't fun when those thoughts came in my head. Shame others just follow through with it.
