For all the problems that @LittleJerry92 and I face with Adobe Premiere from time to time, one thing I will praise about more recent versions of the program are Adjustment Layers: great way to apply effects to your entire timeline without having to do it for each and every individual clip.

Adobe premiere is still better than avid media composer though.

Let's be honest.

To be honest,

I'd love to see someone cover Telephone Rock. That song is partially why I wore out my first copy of the Rock & Roll VHS.

Hmmmm.....

Well, going by vocals of Cerf, Hunt and Nelson,

Alvin Chea of Take 6 providing Nelson's bass vocals
Steve Perry doing Cerf's vocals
Michael McDonald doing Hunt's vocals
And I guess Rolland Gift of Fine Young Cannibals doing lead?

Never tried Avid.

The only other thing I've tried was Sony Vegas to familiar myself for a potential job offer, and admittedly, I found it to be an uglier, less user-friendly version of Adobe Premiere.

Be thankful. Be very thankful. That program actually made me throw a chair across my apartment when I had to use it to finish a project for my Digital Editing 2 class.

If that doesn't say something, I dunno what does.

I'm just looking forward to having to mix audio separately again since that new license with Dolby means Dolby Digital audio is no longer supported in Adobe Premiere on older operating systems.

And by looking forward to it, I mean I'm dreading it like a sickness . . . I mean, that was one of the big pluses for me getting Adobe Premiere - I could edit video and audio in the same program, in the same timeline, thus cutting out excess work.

At this point, I think you're better off switching to Final Cut.

@D'Snowth might like this, but um....

There's a very low budget open-world game based off the music video for "19-2000" where you can drive on the bridge and just cruise around. It used to have the song play in the background and then silence when it finished. Now.... It's just not there anymore. :frown:
