Oi, let's back up. I obviously am glad you got through depression. That's most important. Here's the thing, I was just having a conversation with a friend, who is ironically gay himself. I am not in need of exposure to liberal issues, and I don't appreciate being painted like the evil conservative when I post here. And I shouldn't have to give away personal information for it to be very obviously apparent that I'm just a moderate trying to see both sides of issues. Stop putting me, and others, into boxes. That is all I've ever asked.

That was NOT my intention I sincerely apologize if I made that appear so! Absolutely. I was called weird in another thread, but my oddness is worn as a badge of honor. That's why I don't take it as insult and this little backstory is kind of why. That's the only connection there. I wouldn't normally respond back directly to you, but this was important. I don't think you have a lick of homophobia in you. We disagree on a lot of issues. I actually agree with you often about social ones. That's probably where we are most alike. Everything I've said is genuine. My arm is always reaching out, but I'm not going to push it because that hasn't worked. My hope is to keep this thread clean of this sort of thing. We have different ideas of things. If the criteria in this thread is not for you, then I get that. I'm not keen on the continued antagonistic posts. I'm really trying here. Failing a lot, but TRYING my best with you. The fact that you're not happy is not a point of glee for me. I suspect much of the angst isn't my doing, but some of it is and you've taken a lot to heart. I've tried everything I can think of. Still, no matter what you do, that door will always be a smidge open. That's my way. And if you don't want to say more about yourself, that's your way and I'll respect that in all other threads. If there's something more that you'd like to share here that you do feel comfortable sharing, however limited it is, I will respect that in this thread. Peace. I must shower, shave and go be a wage slave now.

@LittleJerry92 you see above here the quick reply thread a button with two bullets and lines after? Click that.

  • My name is David. I live in VA.
  • I am a fan of metal and other music genres, possibly the biggest one on this forum? Maybe? Well, most vocal at least.
  • I also like movies, TV shows (including some anime), and literature (see the link in my sig).
  • I am, to use the technical term, a "bisexual heteromantic".
  • I like stand-up comedy.
  • I'm cynically positive, and pessimistically optimistic. I make no sense whatsoever!
  • Thomas and Friends was my childhood.
  • I have a hot temper but I'm also a pretty friendly person... if you get past the swearing.
  • I'm... not so much a "feminist" as an "equalist", I guess. I personally respect women so much that I'd honestly prefer being with them than men... which explains why I seem to have more "girl friends" than "guy friends".
