I'm not usually an angry person (yeah I know right ) but I nearly flipped my lid in class yesterday because people think they can say and do want they f*cking like to me and get away with it. And they discuss mine and other people faults and make fun of them in that class and don't even realise there own.

So, I posted as a sarcastically joking comment on @D'Snowth 's thread on his frustration of people asking him to posts his Sesame Street episodes on YouTube (which, for the record by the way, I respect his decision and I'm sure he took it out of good humor himself), and they ended up getting deleted because someone actually thought I was being serious in spite of the way I was typing.

I don't know who reported them nor do I care who did it, but it really aggrivates me sometimes that some members are just so oblivious to sarcasm even if you're clearly typing it in an obvious way.

To be fair, MC has always had a history with members who have a difficult time discerning sarcasm and seriousness - and you have to admit, sarcasm isn't something easy to convey through text.

You're not wrong on that; even I used to be a bit oblivious to sarcasm when I was in my teens. But still, you'd think people would catch on to it with how serious I usually type to typing like dis cuz like I'm soooo funny lolololol look at me I type like some dumb teen herp derp.

But, whatever. Water under bridge at this point.

At least you kiddies got to sample cough medicines that came in pleasant flavors. Your pharmacy could prescribe cough medicine in cherry, grape, even bubble gum flavor. Neat!
Not so neat. It tasted nothing like cherry, grape, or bubble gum. Nasty stuff!

I remember as a kid how difficult it was to swallow pills, and my mom would try various different tricks, like mix them into ice cream, or having me practice with M&M's, but nothing worked.

Not sure how or why that changed over time, but if at all possible, I'd prefer taking a pill as opposed to a liquid. . . . with a couple of notable exceptions:

1. If they're those gigantic horse-sized pills like Mucinex - like trying to swallow a bowling ball.

2. Certain gel capsuls (particularly antibiotics) have a really, really rancid smell and taste to them - it's a combination of trying to swallow and trying not to gag.

I don’t like capsules. Had to take pills and they made me gag like crazy.

I used to have a horrible gag reflex with swallowing pills.... It's gone up though.

Anyway, another thing to rant about.

So.... I thought my yoga class was tomorrow night.... Just to find out it's tonight.

Re-scheduling is going to be so much fun.
