I am so sick of these drive-by litter bugs throwing their trash all over the neighrborhood. Somebody literally just dumped an entire, rolled-up carpet just across the road from my house . . . who does that? Hey, jerks! We have four trashcans in front of the property, you're telling me you're that lazy to walk a few more feet and put your trash one of the cans, or lay it by the bin for the garbage trucks to pick up? Stop littering our street!
Lazy people. Gotta love 'em. In the CVS where my wife works, a lot of people park in the fire lane. Simply for sheer convenience. Despite the fact there are plenty of LEGAL parking spots a few feet away. But some people are either too lazy to walk that far, or feel ENTITLED to park in the fire lane because they're behind the wheel of a Mercedes or BMW.
I'll never forget the time a few years back I was on crutches, someone parked in the fire lane, and I called them on it.
Me (on crutches): "You know you're not supposed to park there, right?"
Beemer Driver: "What business is it of yours????!!!!"
Me: "I'm on crutches and I'm parked over there. What's your excuse?"
Beemer Driver: " If you don't stop bothering me I'm calling the police".
Me: "You do that. When they get here the first thing they'll do is give you a ticket for parking in the fire lane."

Beemer Driver: @#&$!!!¢©££¥¥¥¥¥ YOU!!!!!!
I ruined a d-bag's day. Shame on me.

Insurance is a wonderful scam. Besides medical insurance, here's a little taste of how life insurance works.
Insurance is a scam. Doesn't matter what kind of insurance it is, there's so much shiftiness behind them that's somehow perfectly legal.

But what amazes me is the clustercrap of health insurance and how the entire health industry works. Insurance drives the cost of medicine, procedures, hospital stays, medical equipment up, causing the price of the insurance to be driven up. Look at that slimeball who bought up the rights to various important drugs and rose the price of them. His excuse is essentially that insurance will cover it. And that's exactly the problem. The industries that make these important things to keep us alive feel the need to bilk the insurance companies, and the insurance industry in turn bilks the consumer. And if there was any rumbling of legislation to fix any of this on either side of the aisle, they both swoop in with swarms of lobbyists paid by the money they've bilked out of the consumers to make darn sure they can keep bilking the poorest of the poor.

It's sickening.

Not so much a rant as an early-morning surprise *** happa?

For some reason Google automatically deleted all messages stored in the Inbox that weren't part of the first page. Even more baffling, it's saying that I have "1-50 of 0 messages". How can it be "1-50 of 0"? If it's 0 messages, then shouldn't my Inbox be completely empty, which would make me even more PO'ed and worthy of a full-blown rant? And who the heck deleted all the other messages in the Inbox anyway. The reason they're in the Inbox is because I wanted to keep them even if they're years old by now. I expect this kind of behavior from age-old messages dumped into the Trash folder, but the Inbox is kind of supposed to be untouchable by the system.
  :shifty: :search: :fishy: :skeptical:

Funnily enough, yesterday I was at a convenience store that was unusually busy - so much so in fact that there were only two parking spots available, and one of them was handicapped. I and another driver pulled into the parking lot, the other actually had one of those handicap permits hanging from their rearview mirror, but they decided to park in the regular spot instead of the handicap spot, because they just happened to be closer to the regular spot than they were the handicap spot.

Yeah... And then there are times like today when my mom and I are trying to find a handicapped parking spot, clearly marked with my handicapped person's parking permit, and we find all the handicapped parking spots already taken... Mostly by people who don't even have a parking permit dangling from the rear view mirror or the inner mirror. :attitude: :grouchy: :grr:

So, Jared the Subway guy is now suing the parents of one his victims, saying it's all their fault that their daughter turned to drugs because he sexually assaulted her.

No words. No words.

Not so much a full-on rant, but Kristen Bell never does anything in her movies, so why give her a TV show (and opposite Ted Danson at that)? Talk about a show about nothing.

Talk about being stabbed in the back: AdBlock Plus has decided that it's going to start doing the exact opposite of what it's supposed to do and start adding ads back onto sites rather than block them. Why? Money.
