Hi everyone! My England trip came and went (it was pretty good but, I missed seeing London because I got sick; I am prone to seizures) but, then when I got home after 2 visits with a specialist, he realized that my anemia needed to be treated, I have been given iron medication to help and it's been working very well! I am finally well enough to drive my car :') Now, I am slowly getting back into the swing of it but, the fact that I was about to drive my abuelos out to a family lunch date was amazing!

Speaking of amazing, I have taken on 2 internships before I left for England and while both are unpaid, they both get me credit and are based in my minors ^^ One is at home and online (it is writing articles and goes with my journalism minor) while the other is doing sound tech/production at a live comedy show in the city (and this goes with my broadcast minor). My bosses at both are just strong, independent women who give me a lot of hope for the future.

My depression has been much more in control since my medical diagnosis was put in a good place; I almost relapsed into self-harming over getting sick in England because I felt so stupid and like I was putting my peers in danger (I kept having seizures during lectures) but, I moved past this ill feelings and again, my iron meds are helping since I was having seizures due to anemia.

One of my articles for my writing internship went national today (my boss who is the head editor of the site loved it because it's about a trending phone application and put me on the front page of the site, it's the first article that comes up!!! If anyone would like to read it, please inbox me) and well, everything may not be perfect as, my parents are still in court because my father refuses to help my mom out with my medical expenses (when, he has to due to an old court ruling) but, everything is in a good place otherwise ^^

Sending good vibes all around you guys <3

I'm sorry I haven't back active today (or that much yesterday), I've being going through a tough time the last couple of days and I thought that hanging out with you guys would help. Anyway, you know that girl I've been crushing on (the one who goes to my local library). Wow, I found out that she likes another boy. That got me SO DEPRESSED! As soon as she told me that, I almost broke down and cried right in front of her (I didn't though, thankfully). Anyway, I LOVE this girl! I enjoy having her as a friend (and I'm happy we can still be friends), but LOSING the possibility of dating her makes me SAD. I was seriously planning on asking her out VERY soon, but I guess I made my move too late. Now Giggles is the only girl I'm allowed to love. That's right, a CARTOON CHARACTER! I'm SO sick of having JUST cartoon crushes, I mean I like having a cartoon crush IN ADDITION to actual crush. Cartoon crushes are fun and they fuel the imagination. But this girl was SO special to me. Now I'm sadder than I've ever been. I can't eat, I can't watch TV, I can't sleep. I tried to watch a little bit of The Simpsons earlier but I had to turn it off because the show reminds me so much of her (it's her favorite show). I seriously can't even watch a funny cartoon without crying, I loved her that much. I haven't eaten anything besides one TV dinner and some Cheetos today. I HATE feeling this way! :frown:.

My friend, there are over 7 billion people in this world. This girl not liking you the same way you like her isn't the end. There are plenty of others out there. It may help to distance yourself from her for a bit, just so that you can recover. Don't be rude and avoid her, of course. After all, if you're still friends, keep respecting her as one. But if having anything to do with her upsets you, you might want to put your mind on something else - just for a while. Take up a hobby, or something. Love isn't the only thing that can give you pleasure.

I'm telling you from experience, you'll be able to get over her. One day, you'll look back at her as "that girl," or "just a friend."

Also try to keep in mind that true love takes time to develop. I don't know how long, or well, you really knew this girl, but I think you've merely lost a crush, and not the love of your life. That's just how I see it, and I've been there not too long ago.

Seriously, you got this!

Congratulations about the article! It must feel rewarding to see a piece of yours get so many views and looks. Hopefully you'll be able to use it as a great building block on your resume and for the future.

Your right. I'm not gonna be sad over this one girl. I'm finally back to my happy, fun-loving self. Watching Bob's Burgers and eating a piece of apple pie really helped me feel better. By the way, if I wanted to tell her I love her, I could've just sent her this picture:

Yup, I'm definitely better! Back to making Deadpool jokes,.
