So did you alter the hard shape pattern or just use it as it was?? He looks great.

What did you use for the eyes??

I started with the MR pattern but ended up having to redo him and alter it quite a bit. I used a halved ping pong ball for the eyes. I painted them white and attached black paper pupils then put a clear coat over the entire eye.

The MR pattern mouthplate was correct, but the head didn't have enough of an arch to the forehead and the chin was too thin. The MR feet patterns were correct as well. I made my own body, leg, and arm patterns. I still need to perfect the collar. I don't know what material Henson used for it and it is tough to get all 11 points of the collar to look right.

I put florist wire in his legs. He isn't really standing. He is on a stand with his legs hanging, barely touching the platform. I made it look as if he is standing.

I was unhappy with Kermit's "bite" and mouth shape. After redoing it twice, here is the final result. What do you guys think?
