Does anybody know why on Two and a Half Men they had Jake join the army? For many years they had to work around child labor laws, and now that he's old enough that it's not a big concern anymore, they send him away, limiting his screen time further? And this happened before that little controversy where the actor complained about what the show has become.

And on That '70s Show, in the last few episodes of the seventh season, before Eric left they introduced Charlie, who appeared to become a replacement. He was going to be living at the Foreman's house while Eric was gone, and he was similar in appearance (and was perhaps a bit more pathetic than Eric)... Only for him to be killed off in the season premiere. So was Charlie killed off because fans didn't like him, or was his presence supposed to be some kind of tease (you think this new character is Eric's replacement? Well now he's dead, think again!), or was it something else?

Because his actor became a religious fanatic and no longer wants anything to do with the show?

I thought it happened around the same time...

I honestly don't know, I don't even watch TWO AND A HALF MEN, I just know these happen because they're put in the news.

The character had joined the army, limiting his appearances to video chat scenes and occasional visits, before he made his remarks public. I don't doubt that he started feeling that way about the show before he let the public know what he thought of the show (though he quickly took back his comments).

Ugh... he we go again...

WHY do we need a reality show about moms and their teenage daughters getting pregnant at the same time?

You're too young to remember, but Subway once had Courage toys, as well as Ed, Edd n Eddy toys

The Courage Toys:

One was of Courage sitting on Eustace's chair, with a cutout of Eustace standing behind it - you turned Eustace in a circle motion, and changed the cutout of the Ooga Booga Booga mask, which caused Courage to jump off the chair.
One was a grandfather clock with Courage standing at the bottom, you pushed a button, and a cutout of an enemy (can't remember, I'd have to dig it up, I think it was the Weremole) would pop out, and launch Courage up to the top of the clock, and make a dinging sound.
One was Courage wrapped around the TV, with Katz on the screen - you pushed Courage's ears done, and it caused his teeth to chatter.
One had Courage lying at the foot of a well, you push a button, and a cutout of an evil eggplant pops out of the well, and Courage shoots off.
Then there was a baby toy that was a big piece of plastic with a decal of Courage riding a hobby horse on it and the plastic actually rocked back and forth.

The EEE Toys:

There was Ed doing a handstand on a skateboard
Double D driving a wooden go-kart
Eddy on a pogostick
And Sarah in an old inner tube.

Each of the toys were set into a puzzle piece that look like a piece of sidewalk: you connect all of the pieces together which looked like the cul-de-sac, you pushed (it didn't matter which one, each piece had one), and it would launch the toys off the sidewalk (Ed and Double D would roll off, Eddy and Sarah would bounce off).
