Paper Sun by Traffic. Such a great song, and one of the few rock songs to use a sitar and not seem completely horrible.

(And one of the members of the band and I share the same name.)

Anything by Toto. Especially "Rosanna." I can't get enough of that groovy shuffle beat, the funky bass, expressive keyboards, fiery guitar, & the tight harmonies. They're just my favorite band right now.

I believe you are the first person in history to call Toto funky.

I'm not saying they are a funky band. I think they're more of an '80s pop-rock band. What I'm saying is that there are a lot of funky aspects of the song "Rosanna."

I know, I was just trying to make a music joke, lol. Toto's not a bad band, but I always thought they were better-utilized when they were backing up Donald Fagen and Walter Becker in Steely Dan.

Like A Prayer. I don't like Madonna, but I have to admit some of her music is good.
