The bigger problem here, like Sarge keeps pointing out, is that there's also this attitude and mentality among studios and certain people, like if you don't have Blu-ray, you're a big, fat, pathetic loser.
That's the essence of advertising. Buy this product and you'll be happy. Miss out, and you'll be a loser. It's a tried and true way of getting people to spend their money.
