I'm trying my hand at them! Homestar Runner's version of The Rainbow Connection, or The Runner's Connection

Homestar: Why are there so many songs about runners
And what's on the finish line?
Runners are winners, but only losers,
And runners have nothing to hide.
So we've have traveled and some choose to achive it
I know it's wrong, wait and see.
Someday we'll find it, the runner's connection,
The growers, the atheletes and me.

When gleamed on the morning star?
Somebody won that, and someone inspired it,
