I'm doing this survey for an essay I'm writing for my college English class. This applies to college students ONLY.

1. Do you know what career you want to go into?

2. How many classes are you taking?

3. Do any of those classes get in the way of your career path? How so?

4. How much time do you need to spend on classes that support your career path?
(on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being A LITTLE, 10 being A LOT)

5. How much time do you need to spend on classes that DON’T support your career path?
(on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being A LITTLE, 10 being A LOT)

6. Do you think it is possible to divide your time evenly between classes that do and don’t support your career path? Why or why not?

Thanks in advance for helping me out.

1) Yes
2) 4
3) The school-required ones are very pointless towards it.
4) 6-7
5) 5
6) The ones that don't support it are worthless and are a waste of time and money.

1. No.
2. This semester - 4.
3. Well, I don't know what my creer will be, but whatever it is, most of the required classes are pointless.
4. Cannot answer.
5. 10
6. No. The stupid required courses don't come easily for the most part like career path courses should because they should be an extreme interest.

1. Do you know what career you want to go into?
Yes
2. How many classes are you taking?
Right now I'm in student teaching. This is an 18-hour semester. Previously, I had done 16 or 17 hours (about six classes)
3. Do any of those classes get in the way of your career path? How so?
I don't think any of them got in the way, even if they weren't directly related.
4. How much time do you need to spend on classes that support your career path?
8

5. How much time do you need to spend on classes that DON’T support your career path?
6 (just to be a well-rounded person).

6. Do you think it is possible to divide your time evenly between classes that do and don’t support your career path?
Yes.

Why or why not?
Because the college makes you.

Thanks in advance for helping me out
You're welcome.

1. Yes
2. 5
3. Yes-Gen. ed classes that waste time, money, and credit hours
4. 8
5. 3
6.It is possible, but it doesn't make much sense to me. Spend the most amount of time on classes that will help you in your career, not just get you credit.

1. Do you know what career you want to go into? Yes

2. How many classes are you taking? 4 (12 units)

3. Do any of those classes get in the way of your career path? How so? No. Taking all major classes.

4. How much time do you need to spend on classes that support your career path?
(on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being A LITTLE, 10 being A LOT) 5

5. How much time do you need to spend on classes that DON’T support your career path?
(on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being A LITTLE, 10 being A LOT) N/A

6. Do you think it is possible to divide your time evenly between classes that do and don’t support your career path? Why or why not? Yes. Every class you are required to take are as important as the ones that directly help your career. The reason to take classing like humanities and calculus is not to do well on Jeopardy, but to exercise your mind to think. If you don't teach yourself how to think and use your mind, then when it's important, you won't be able to do as well as if you did.
