What was so bad about the EM in VMX that parental groups caused them to get left on the cutting room floor?

the dizzle fo shizzle himself, snoop dogg.

Are you kiddin me. If my memory serves me correctly NBC put that movie out. The top brass at NBC are that stupid that they would let Snoop do his normal act during a thier family programming. Soop has kids I am sure he was more than appropriate. That just p!sses me off, for shizzle!

His purformance in the film had nothing to do with it. It was his pursonal life of drugs and GGW tapes that made NBC have second thoughts.

Ah ha! You are right. Yet, he looks darker in these pictures than I remember him from MTI. Perhaps because this is a darker lkooking film, while MTI was tatally bright and glitsy.

Actually, Crazy Harry was not in MTI. He would have looked great alongside Lew Zealand, though.

The edits were the idea of the Henson company, not NBC. And it was after pressure from numerous parental groups whining about how the muppets are "Kiddy entertainment."

Of course, they didn't realize the same movie would feature Scooter Cage Dancing and Animal drinking Egg nogg out of a beer bong....

Dude must've said one line that was unnoffensive.

But I guess it's part and parcel of the whole thing. Snoop Dogg still has a bad reputizzle, fo' shizzle. There was a huge protest against the performer performing at Harvard, because of his attitude towards women (but they still aren't taking action against the guy who implied women are dumber than men).

The big problem with Snoop Dog was that he runs a company that makes hardcore pornography. Henson should've anticipated the negative publicity.

The shoes Ashanti wears are Manolo Blahnik shoes. In the film, she says she not going to wear someone else's old shoes, then Miss Piggy as the good witch tells her they are Manolos and she puts them right on.

What is Manolo Blahnik? Sorry I am a guy and dont wear anything more than Docs and Sketchers.

    High dollar designer shoes.

Well, it's official... it's definately not as Kiddy-fied as I had feared. I mean, there's even a scene where Gonzo talks about nipples. Anytime a puppet mentions nipples, you're in for a good show.

Tell all! Why does he mention..the aforementioned?

Um, 99.9999 % of the population has nipples. And butts. I wanna hear some more sophisticated or subversive references, as well as nods to the older fans and Muppet history.

The Cory Enthusiasm Advisory has been set to nauseatingly low...it could be raised to guarded yellow tho if I hear more good things.
