R.I.P. Tom Lester

Otherwise known as Eb from GREEN ACRES (also Cousin Jake in the Disney movie GORDY, which was coincidently written by GREEN ACRES creators Jay Sommers & Dick Chevilait).

This is especially sad, because he was the last remaining castmember of GREEN ACRES.

I thought this said "Tom Lehrer" at first and got really bummed.

He was a baby compared to the rest of the cast.It’s only in the last few years I’ve come to appreciate how clever Green Acres was. At first I thought it was just another hokey rural sitcom like Petticoat Junction or The Beverly Hillbillies. But there was some subversive dialogue and sight Gaga’s going on.

GREEN ACRES was like the closest thing we've ever gotten to a live-action cartoon.

At times The Munsters and The Addams Amily came close.
