Hi Guys.
I had to go into my local B&Q DIY Store yesterday, while I was in there I thought I would look in the garden section as I heard they were stocking Muppets flower pots!!? I couldnt find any of these but was amazed by what I did see?? They have 2 large Garden ornaments, one of Kermit sat on a stone, and the other of Statler and Waldorf sat on a bench. These are very large and very heavy, Statler Waldorf on bench weighs 6KG, while Kermit is 4KG. Statler & Waldorf cost £29.99 while Kermit cost £24.99. Below are a picture of each of these ornaments, I have placed Palisades Kermit figure to show a size comparison. The sculpt and paint jobs on them could be a bit better, but they are quite a novel idea. They come in a plain cardboard box with a small sticker of the item on it, which I am glad about as the size of the box with poly inner is huge if it was printed with Muppets and had to be kept. Both figures come with the Muppets logo card hang tag which reads ''Muppets in the Garden''. The only maker info they have is a web address on the tag which reads www.slotzlimited.com however there is no info on the site? They are Copyright Henson and not Disney 2002. It is quite interesting that Kermit looks like he has been moulded from the 'Kermit Thinker' picture, link also below.
See Ya
