Hello! I found this record at a garage sale several years ago and it's been a real conversation piece since. (*not affiliated with the TV program sesame street"...huh?) I'm currently putting together a short film and would like to add a song from the l.p. to the soundtrack. This is where it gets tricky. Obviously I will need a copyright clearance for the individual song, but the problem I'm having is with the "sound recording" ,that specific version on the l.p. So, question #1 is Peter Pan Records still in operation? (I've found nothing online saying so) and #2, if they're no longer operational, would that mean that specific sound recording is open for use?
I know this isn't a lawyer message board, but any info would be a huge help.
BTW-the song is Jimmy Webb's "Up Up & Away".
thanks, J. Brown
