Issues with Firefox on OSX?

Okay so I'm thinking I can't be the only one on here who's using Firefox on OSX to look at this site. Recently I got a new Mac Mini (OSX 10.4.7) to replace my dead desktop computer. I've been a fan of Firefox for as long as I've known about it so it was a no brainer to install it on that machine. So I'm using it to brows around and find that I get the following error when using FF to post to this site:

The following errors occurred when this message was submitted:
1. The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 3 characters.
2. A required field called pagetext is missing or has an invalid value.

Now Safari seems to be working fine posting (that's what I'm using now) but I prefer Firefox.... so anyone have any clue what settings might be flubbed up and how to fix them?

I've already emailed CS for Muppet Central and got a wonderful form letter saying that they can't get back to everyone (/sarcasm) so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just downloaded Firefox today. My other browsers kept giving me error messages so I could barely get online anymore. Now when I just visited MC it says I have to download an additional plugin to display all media on this site...?

That's just Flash you need... the top nav bar is Flash. No biggie, There should be a toolbar that pops up and asks to look for the plugin for you.
