You really can't silence the eyes. The reason you don't hear them on Sesame Street is because, unlike your camera mic which picks up everything, the performers are wearing directional mikes which only pick up their voices. Spinning pupils are just plain noisy.

I ended up stuffing some foam inside the eyes. It has helped a lot and whatever is left over is tolerable. Come to think of it, I don't really even notice it anymore.

Looks great! I am going to try to use giant googly eyes inside clear ornaments to make it a little safer in case my son wants to play with mine, my goal is to finish by his birthday party in may :insatiable:
