Oh, my gosh, D'Snowth, the way I read your first sentence, it started to sound like your mom was Sonia Manzano! Sorry, it's been a long day! But, anyway, I checked IMDb (my source for media info) and it read she was in a "Law and Order" episode called "Hands Free" which aired in 2004. So, yup, that was her!
