I find that sort of silly and it has nothing really to do with the film - just the times. When I said personal it had nothing to do with me. Just that you had personal tastes that had little to so with the Muppets that influenced your decisions and that everything seems to be night or day with you. Just very dramatic.
See what I mean folks? He just doesnt give up! lol Ok, I see what ya mean better though. Well, TMM is seems timeless...I mean I vehemntly dislike the '70's look, but most of TMM is just the Muppets. The humans are th eonly ones who date it, and boy oh boy is there plenty of human only scenes in GMC. Also, what exactly is the message of GMC? I know what the message of TMM(fulfilling your dreams), and TMTM(true friendship) is.

I LOVe the muppet movie and have no problem wiht any of the looks of the muppets, I think they look awesome. I just think at times they over did Miss Piggy and made her very annoying. In all the other muppet movies she not as over done and is great. In Muupet Movie she just over done and very annoying... IMO

...also that pigs shouldn't do water ballet, but is sure is fun to watch. LOL! Just love that scene for all its insanity.

Actually the plot was about friends rallying together for a common cause of "truth and justice". Kind of typical for a Muppet film I think. You could say the Muppet Movie was about commercialism if you didn't delve under the surface. It was friends rallying together to support the frog and to get rich and famous with him.

I'm gonna put in my two cents. apparently there are like five debates going on here.

Piggy's look: She was defenetly her best in the 3rd htrough 5th seasons of TMS, MTI, and the most recent puppet. Still, I agree with J and M's man that Janice is the Best looking muppet. Flyod's a lucky guy. But i digress. The Pig looked her worst in Season 1 of TMS and in TMTM.

GMC: I find it one of the best muppet movies. Perhaps it's my passion for Mel Brooks movies, where everyone is always refering to that fact that's it's a movie (See " "Spaceballs", "Blazing Saddles" and "Robin Hood: Men in Tights" for examples"). However, it has it's ups and downs (the all human secnes, for example) TMTM, however, is the worst of the origonal three. except for the musical numbers and several hysterical moments. The sence in the first producer's office, the letter sequences, and Gergory Hines' cameo ("You gave Jenny the huggies?!"), i find the plot uninspidered, the humor unfunny, and many characters underused (You actuly get to know, what, 10 muppets?). TMM is the best!

Piggy in TMM: I find her i vital part if the film, who crackes me up at every line.

I find Piggy's look the 4th year of TMS to be kind of weird too. Not bad, just weird around the eyes. She morphed more than a Transformer (or Gobot if you prefer).

I STAND CORRECTED!

Ok, I stand corrected...

on tv they are showing a half hour of TMS highlights for some Time Life commercial...

and Piggy in the Linda Ronstatd looks pretty alright! What year/season is this from? If its 80/81 then I am still right:wink:

*so cool to not be able to go a day without seeing some sort of Muppet related thing on tv!*

Hmmm, maybe those obscure UHF channels are good for something!
