I wonder what Mel Brooks is doing in this movie. I hope he's not a frog killer again

The third scene they took out could be the mockin of Irish people being drunk and... Uhm... merry - LOL
hi Warrick are you refuring to this artical or was there another one you read about this?

(But some of the new attitude was too edgy: A Snoop Dogg cameo (where he swaps stoner koans with the Electric Mayhem) was cut after execs realized the rapper was releasing a self-produced porn film; a suggestive scene with Pepe the Prawn and Cusack was trimmed; and a dig at Irish rowdiness was dropped.)

i guess the way they refer to "dropped" you ment by didn't get filmed, and if it didn't get filmed then we won't miss it. i mean i hope as much as almost everyone that the snoop and EM part is on the DVD,as well as this pepe scene too, but after reading many artcials like that one i really doubt it,i think henson might have just been covering up the fact then with saying that snoop's snoopyness had nothing to do with the cut and that it didn't advace the storyline there for it was cut as part of the 30 min's that had to be cut for time & production.

Mel was an absolute hoot. "The Muppet Movie" had great villians. The rest of the films (bear in mind I didn't see MTI or MFS and don't count Scrooge because he isn't a Henson creation) sorely lacked that essential element.

he may be in the background of a scene or two, but i don't recall him actually having lines. there's a lot of muppets floating around in the background of the movie.
