I was just wondering if anyone knew somewhat of a timeline for the Muppet Show DVDs that are being released by Columbia Tri Star. Assuming that sales go well, we should be seeing an additional 5 more than Timelife but . . . . when?

I don't think an actual timeline has been publicly established but you might be looking at a few every quarter if they do well sales wise. The extra 5 wouldn't be coming for a year or so but the whole Columbia distribution deal will likely be affected by the Henson sale. If a small independant company gets JHC then the Columbia deal will probably continue - if a big corporation with it's distribution arm gets them then all bets will probably be off on the Coumbia/Time Life DVD's and you'll probably see all the shows released in a totally different product line.

One thing to keep in mind, Columbia can't release any of the "Best of the Muppet Show" DVD's until it's been at least a year since the Time-Life release of that particular title. So the soonest Columbia could releae volumes 11-15 would be a year from now.

Time-Life is also gearing up a new tv ad campaign for the Muppet Show which we should begin seeing in November.
