Chewing gum factory

The film from the 1970's - 'Chewing gum factory' - is now on Sesame Street's site. From 'Look, over there, he's getting ready to make chewing gum...' to 'She's gonna blow up!' great memory!

Also, I wonder who composed the background music - it might have been used in one or two other Sesame clips as well.

The site now has the original ABC-DEF-GHI, listed as "Big Bird's Alphabet Song". This is the first season one Big Bird clip to be added to the site (though considering this is on Old School Vol. 1,I wish they'd added a rarer season one Big Bird sketch instead, like Chickery, Chick or that clip from the A&E Biography with Susan singing "Hey, Big Bird!").
Does anyone know the name of that clip, or the episode it's from, or if it's floating around somewhere? I have wanted to watch that segment in its entirity since I saw that clip of it.

After a year of holding out, they've finally uploaded some new classic videos. They're mostly street scenes, but some pretty rare ones (a lot involving Captain Vegetable!)

Finally! Though I wonder if some of the same episodes were used for street plots.

Since the whole "recently added" bar was full, I figured there might be some clips not listed there. So I did a little searching, and I found this clip (which features Bruno): http://www.sesamestreet.org/video_p...-a2fa-4d58-bbb4-7283261c2194/everybody_knocks

Well, remember the "Recently Added" bar only shows 10 at a time. They could very well add more than that.

And I just found this little gem!

There's a few clips with Little Jerry and the Monotones, which obviously come from the same episode.

http://www.sesamestreet.org/video_p...-9b9a-42d3-8bb0-a929f7be603c/big_jeffie_sings

Interestingly, Rockin' Richard and Chrissy aren't included, but the group does include that fat blue anything muppet pictured with Little Jerry and Big Jeffy in the Rock & Roll! video.

And here's another clip which is a bit intriguing:
http://www.sesamestreet.org/video_p...7f-8d58-41e66f72533e/elmo_sings_ooh_wah_ditty

That one is obviously from a different episode (David appears in the other two clips, Mike appears in this one, and I don't think the two were ever on the show at the same time). It has Little Chrissy and Big Jeffy teaching Elmo to sing with them. But at the end Chrissy refers to the group as "Little Elmo and the Monotones". Makes me wonder if the plot invovled Little Jerry and the Monotones splitting up, with the group replacing Little Jerry with Elmo. But Little Chrissy isn't a member of the group (there is a Chrissy in the group, but it's a different Chrissy). But since there are two Chrissy's performed by Christopher Cerf, I wonder if they just used the wrong puppet (they have used the wrong puppets for members of the Monotones before, but I would think the individual names of the Monotones would be a bit obscure for them to use the wrong Chrissy). Since Rockin' Richard is absent, I wonder if maybe this is from after Richard Hunt's death.

Also interestingly is that in this clip, Big Jeffy seems to be wearing the same clothes as in the other two clips I posted in this post. And Chrissy is dressed the same as that other Monotone member who appears in those clips.

More rare classic street scenes have surfaced!

First, we finally get to hear Aristotle's voice in not one, but two clips:

Here's one that I assume is from Hiroshi's first appearance. And it looks like Oscar was Hiroshi's landlord or something. And I think this must be the first time I heard another character use Oscar's catch phrase, "Ding dong! You're wrong!":

And finally, I remember several years ago somebody was wondering if Olivia and Snuffy ever had any scenes together. Well, this scene not only proves they did interract, but it also shows she once interracted with Alice as well:
