Yes, a Muppet letter B (Carmen Osbahr, who no doubt right-handed Cookie when she wasn't doing the B) joined Maria, Cookie and Elmo at the beginning and also when they were planning B-word foods.
She did the letter B? Wow! If that was her, she did a good job changing her voice. It didn't sound like Rosita or Ovajeta.

If I'm correct, that voice Carmen used for the "B" was also used for Ursa on Bear in the Big Blue House.
