Thursday morning, watch the Sesame Street Muppets at The 99th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Christopher Jackson, Hamilton Broadway performer and Sesame Street composer, will join the cast on the 1-2-3 Sesame Street float.

The parade begins at 8:30 am eastern on NBC, Peacock, and Telemundo. Sesame Street's appearance is scheduled for approximately 10:00 am eastern when the float reaches 34th Street Herald Square. Please note that the parade may be delayed for up to two hours in your time zone, so be sure to check local listings for accurate start times. Additionally, in some markets, NBC will re-air the parade on Thursday afternoon.

Actually the Sesame Street float is on NOW! Elmo even spoke with the parade hosts before they began their song. And of course I love seeing Julia in her little noise-cancelling headset, and Oscar the Grouch refusing to sing along.

I found it interesting they sang the Sesame Street Theme. All the years they've done the parade, they've sung a lot of different songs, but I don't think they ever did the theme song before.

Especially since an instrumental version of the theme kicks off the Sesame Street float's appearance on NBC anyway, one that's based on the 2009-2015 opening theme but shorter.
