Thanks for all that info NikZane! Welcome to the fourm BTW!
Thanks Zack et. al., 'tis great to be here

I can't believe after having been a muppet fan for over 20yrs, that I've only just come across this forum.

It's nice to read everyone's posts, especially those who are so passionate about the Henson team and their creations.

It also goes without saying that muppetcentral.com forum has the best emoticon set ever!

Maybe U can join us in a role play one day. It pretty cool. Fozzie (Kev) normaly runs them but most of the members here make up there own. We make up our own movie type play and have fun w/ them. We normaly pick cerent characters to play but most of any muppet character can pop up anywhere. We r running a thing called "Muppet Collage Dorms" or "Which muppet would u room w/ at Collage?" Its fun we have our own muppet character and we room w/ them. Just remember read most of what u can so u understand what its about. Just tell "The Count (MC) and he'll explain or like how he says it "hexplain." So if u want join or not thats fine. See yea and can't wait for tonights tapping.

Yeah that was Steve doing Statler as those clips seemed to have been prerecorded. It's likey will see other characters performed by Steve and Jerry
Steve and Jerry? Don't you mean Steave and Dave? Dave always does Waldorf and that was definitely him. It would be nice to see Jerry show up, but if he's not doing Statler, I doubt he will.

I'm guessing Pepe, Bunsen, Beaker, Gonzo, Rowlf, Bobo, Johnny and Rowlf are the clear possibilites to join Kermit, Animal, Statler and Waldorf this week. I would like to see others stop by.

Holy canole! Looks like JHC finally did what I had always wanted...a Muppet on the street interview segment! I was stunned watching tonight's Kermit cohosting of Jimmy Kimmel...as it was so cool seeing Kermit randomly going up to people in Hollywood asking them questions(ala the Jay Walking segments on Leno) I remember always talking about how Gonzo and Pepe should do on the street segments in Time Square, and this is the next best thing!

We also saw Kermit reference Snoop Dogg('fashizzle my nizzle)'...which is odd, as last time Kermit mentioned Snoop Dogg was on Craig Kilborn(about why he got cut from AVMC)

Finally, the seperation of fleece and felt was bridged...as forget all the "Sesame is now seperate from JHC hooey"...as Kermit said "this episode was brought to you by the letters P P and C, and the number 14"(referencing a guys shirt)

The show got a little bit mrore racier when Kermit asked the guest, in reference to her playing a role Jennifer Lopez did..."Does this mean you get to do Ben?"
Kermit then says "The word "do" means something totally different on Sesame Street".

Statler and Waldorf also made a cameo. It was just so exhilarating seeing Kermit come out when he was introduced, amidst the faux theatre guest entrance. And seeing the streets segment...I really hope a new Muppet show finally debuts next year, with that kind of hip modern lighting and decorem(with of course a nod to the old theatre) But Kermits week long appearence on Kimmel is going to really help the Muppets position...as well as its cool seeing other Muppets ont he show as well.

 There were no new surprises today, but Kermit held his own. It appears that the cut-ins of Statler and Waldorf are done off-site so who knows if Goelz and Barretta are there? We know Animal comes out tomorrow. I hope we see more Muppets and that Statler and Waldorf aren't the surprises he was talking about.

It also looks like there are plugs all week. Yeserday was VMC, today was the video game so Palisades might get a plug this week. I hope they bring out current stock and not the series one Kermit figure again. They probably will, but it's not really available anymore. Koozebane Kermit would be cool or Gonzo or Pepe even. :concern:

Yeah I ment Steve and Dave, I switched the names

Kermit was a hoot on the show, as just like Beaker said i've also always wanted to see a Muppet do something like that with Frog on the street!

I hope they do plug more Muppet stuff, I can't wait for Muppet Party Cruise!

Hey wow Bill does a good job with Statler! I think Statler's the first simi main Muppet to have 4 people who've performed his voice. It's almost a giving to see Pepe I would bet, but i'd really love Rowlf!

Animal tonight, gosh it's Wensday already?!

LOVED the Frog on the Street bit! That was definitely worth staying up for. I only wish I could dance like that cute old lady.

I am really loving Kermit on Kimmel's show, and I'm not really a big fan of Jimmy Kimmel in general. I liked him best on "Win Ben Stein's Money." Anyway, these shows with Kermit are great! I really liked the Muppet-on-the-Street segment last night, especially the Snoop-slang and the guy who was doing that "Mr. T" impression. :stick_out_tongue:

Looking forward to tonight's show--I'm holding out a secret hope that Mr. The Frog will announce details of a new Muppet series... I know it's not likely, but a guy can dream...

Kermit turns perv (well...sorta). Well its a first, Kermit the Frog making a direct sexual reference. A tad creepy. Then again, other Kimmel-related puppets are worse: Crank Yankers and the infamous "sock puppet porn movies" on the Man Show... Let's just hope for the sake of humanity ol Kermie doesnt end up doing either of those  Well, then again, earlier in the year Jimmy had reoccuring "Terry the Terror Crab" or something segments, who actually sounded a LOT like some voice on JHH. I'm not too sure. Yesterday's S&W appearance was probably the first time I've ever actually been offended by a Muppet performance, let alone a puppet. But that's just me...I thought it was too crude, even for them. Other than that, the week has been alright thus far, except the Kimmel forum is tearing Kermit apart... :embarrassed:
