Anyway, here's a perfect list of The Muppet Show DVD's 16-20:
(Perhaps Time-Life could think of the Did-You-Knows.)

Volume 16
*Charles Aznavour, Loretta Switt, Zero Mostel
*Muppets On The Front of the DVD/VHS: Gonzo, Dr. Teeth, Rizzo, Animal
*Muppetism: Rizzo (the rat)

*From The Archives: Janice, Floyd

Volume 17
*Candice Bergen, Ethel Merman, Doug Henning
*Muppets On The Front of the DVD/VHS: Fozzie, Kermit, Scooter
*Muppetism: Johnny (the man) & Sal (the ape)
*Movie Mania: Jurrassic Park (a dinosaur tries to park his car)
*From The Archives: Fozzie Bear

Volume 18
*Spike Milligan, Wally Boag, Milton Berle
*Muppets On The Front of the DVD/VHS: Statler, Waldorf
*Muppetism: The Swedish Chef (or The Gibberish Chef)
*Movie Mania: King Kong (a Chinese Royal Gorrilla talks about "Hong Kong")
*From The Archives: Sam the Eagle

Volume 19

*Muppetism: Sweetums (the sweetest creep)
*Movie Mania: Muppet Screen Test - Singin' In The Rain

Volume 20

*Muppetism: Sam (an American)
*Movie Mania: Star Wars (Beaker interviews a group of stars fighting)
*From The Archives: Scooter

(What do you think, (Disney)? If you don't have the rights about that, OK, here's the plan: You could bring the rights of The Muppets to Time-Life, then Time-Life would be honored to make volume 16-20 of The Best of The Muppet Show, and you would also ask Time-Life to bring you back the rights of the Muppets immediately after the volumes from 16-20 are released all done. After all, it's the 30th Anniversary of The Muppet Show. Would this be a deal?)
What do you think of my perfect idea?

If these were released, the first of these 5 volumes in my list which I would watch would be the 18th one.

16) British Comics no one in America knows
a) Bruce Forsythe
b) Spike Milligan
c) Chris Langham
Sean Gaffney, I'm an american, and I know these guys.

In fact, most of the episodes in your ideas in this thread are gereniciez (three in a row mostly in your ideas are genericiez) and generic intros have nothing to do with the episodes. Volume 13 should be the only Time-Life video which all three are genericiez. I would like it better if one of the three on each Time-Life Video from Volume 16-20 are specifiez.
I hope you'll think it's perfect, if not, you'll have to deal with it, OK?

Do you just mean the video rights? If Disney decided to give the distribution rights, I don't think Disney would be able to make Time-Life give/ sell it back after they are done. If Disney just gave Time-Life video rights, it would probably be temporary. Whenever a video company got the video rights to any Henson productions, it was always temporary. The current deal with Henson and Hit! lasts untill 2009. Since Disney owns the Muppets, their video rights can't expire unless Disney were to sell the muppets.

Also, Time-Life might not be able to release those episodes uncut. Just because Time-Life could release an uncut Vincent Price episode while Disney couldn't does not mean that Time-Life can release any episode uncut. It's possible that some episodes were not released because Time-Life couldn't get the rights to certain songs (I don't know this for sure). I am surprised that the Paul Williams epsiode wasn't included. I'm also surprised that the Lorretta Switt episode wasn't included.

If the plan won't work, would it be possible to make my wish be granted?

Ugh! This isn't gonna work.

OK. Can you tell me who could send me a mpeg video clip or video tape of the Spike Milligan Episode of TMS before The 3rd Season DVD comes out? That episode should be hilarious for me.
