I have a LOT of movies on DVD, too many to post here.

I collect mostly catalog titles, usually stuff you can only order online or find at specialty stores like Media Play, FYE or Best Buy. If I absolutely have to buy a big title like, say, Casino Royale or Flags of our Fathers, I'll pick it up at Wal-Mart.

My "obscurities" include lots of Italian thrillers (giallos) and spaghetti westerns (Django, etc.) Blue Underground and Anchor Bay put out a lot of really good stuff, a lot of it ultra-rare. If you're a genre fan, you can't go wrong with these guys. I built up a respectable Dario Argento collection, as well as Mario Bava. The only major Argento title I'm missing is Four Flies on Grey Velvet, the third and final in Argento's "Animal" trilogy. What Blue Underground or Anchor Bay could do with that title! Unfortunately, its owned by Paramount, and that studio seems reluctant to give it up, or at least release it on their own. But hey, Paramount released a beautiful edition of Bava's Diabolik a couple years ago, so there's always hope.

I don't collect much TV. I have The Muppet Show: Season 1, The Untouchables: Season 1, Volume 1, a couple of X-Files sets from the early years, the complete Monty Python series, and that's it. But I will buy the 60s Batman in a heartbeat if it ever comes out.

I regret not starting a Simpsons collection when they first started. What are they up to, season 8 or 9? As much as I'd love to collect 'em, it would be too expensive to start from the beginning.

But I'm always trolling around DVD websites, looking for new releases. I've been blind buying a lot lately, something I vowed I would never do. Fortunately, most of the time, my blind buys are worth it.

You should take some time to start a DVD Aficionado account. I made one last year when my collection hit 1,000, and I use it to keep track of what I have. I'd love to see some of the stuff you've got.
