Oh god ... all of the greats we grew up with are going so fast! Mister rogers, ray charles, barry wbhite, michael kamen ... and now jerry goldsmith

Composer of many big-time movies, with about half of the Star Trek films being some of his most well-known.

During his earlier days, he ranked right up there with John Williams and Michael Kamen.
